Donald G. Hunt, Jr.

Donald G. (Don) Hunt, Jr. is an honorably discharged officer of the United States Marine Corps who brings the discipline he practiced during his military service to the practice of law. Mr. Hunt joined the firm in 1995 and serves as president.

Mr. Hunt has extensive commercial law experience focusing primarily on business transactions and litigation. From organizing hundreds of new companies both small and large to negotiating and closing straightforward and complex transactions, Mr. Hunt brings a common sense and innovative approach designed to maximize his clients’ returns and protect their businesses from risks. For over 25 years, Mr. Hunt has helped his clients navigate the complexities of the federal, state, and appellate court systems and private arbitration proceedings involving a wide range of disputes to include breach of contract, unfair business practices, real estate disputes, regulatory and licensure claims, and estate disputes.

Mr. Hunt has argued cases before the North Carolina Supreme Court, the North Carolina Court of Appeals and the South Carolina Court of Appeals sometimes setting new legal precedents along the way. Mr. Hunt has served as lead trial counsel in multiple jurisdictions throughout the United States and goes wherever his clients’ interests require.

Mr. Hunt received his J.D. from Campbell University and his B.A. From The Citadel Military College.

In addition to his legal practice, Mr. Hunt taught Business Law and Employment Law at Wake Technical Community College from 1996-2002.
